What is the fear of the Lord?

It is a deep respect, an overwhelming feeling of reverence, admiration and a sense of awe produced in us by the revelation of who God is.

The fear of the Lord ought to be the foundation of our hearts, lives, family and the Church.

"And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul - Deuteronomy 10: 12

Jesus said, “Let's go off by ourselves to a quiet place and rest awhile.” He said this because there were so many people coming and going that Jesus and his apostles didn't even have time to eat. So, they left by boat for a quiet place, where they could be alone. - Mark 6:31–32

Are you stuck in life or are you moving upward and forward in accordance with God's plan and purpose?

For us as Christians the biggest moment is when we will see our LORD.
"What will the Lord Jesus have to say to me about the life I have lived?"

Christmas is completely about the GOSPEL.

Our God who so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whosoever would believe in Him would not perish but have everlasting life.

To understand Christmas is to understand basic Christianity, the gospel.
